Abstract

Excised leaf, printed in roman and italic script in Latin, from the canon of work from ca. 16th-18th centuries on the Hebrew Republic. This was an early modern European political theory that conceived of the Hebrew Bible as an outline for a perfect republic designed by God for Israel.
