The collection contains Benjamin Blumberg's personal papers, late 19th to late 20th century, including those pertaining to his newspaper career, education, and community organization involvement. The collection also consists of materials related to Milton Louis Anfenger (1893-1961) and Saul Pinchick (1949-1968). Types of materials in the collection include newspapers, newspaper clippings, organizational records, scrapbooks, correspondence, photographs, awards, event programs, and certificates. Papers associated with Blumberg's education include materials related to the Cheltenham School reunion and to North High School Alumni Association and the Out of Print Club. Records for General Rose Hospital and B'nai B'rith Lodge #171 of Denver constitute the bulk of the collection's organization-related documents. The collection also contains organizational records for Allied Jewish Campaign, Allied Jewish Community Council, Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado, Beth Medrosh Hagodol Synagogue, the Board of Jewish Education, Colorado Springs Jewish Community, Congregation Hebrew Educational Alliance, Ex-Patients Tubercular Home, Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society, and Jewish Youth Council of Denver. Blumberg's newspaper career is represented by newspapers and clippings from the publications he worked for, including the Colorado Herald, B'nai B'rith News, Israel Today, the Jewish Herald Voice, the Jewish Post and Opinion, the Kansas City Jewish Chronicle, Intermountain Jewish News, and The West End Press. In addition, the collection contains papers that belonged to Benjamin Blumberg's wife, Anne Blumberg.
