This box contains several books from Alter's personal collection on a variety of topics including chemistry, physics, and geology. The books are all in decent condition with no notable damage. This box also includes Alter's Masters thesis (A Study of the Electrodeposition of Chromium, 1928) and PhD thesis (Investigations on Atomic Weights Nitrogen, Indium, and Radiogenic Lead, 1934).
