Pearl J. Shames Estate, bulk: May 2005-September 2005

This folder contains correspondence and paperwork relating to the estate of Pearl J. Shames in which Congregation Zera Abraham was named a beneficiary. The items in this folder two copies of the information of appointment for Shames's will, one of which includes a letter from the attorneys representing Shames's daughter, Sonia Landau, who was appointed the personal representative. A letter from Sander J. Slatkin, Zera Abraham's attorney, to Shames's attorneys requested more information in order to create a memorial plaque for Shames. In response, Shames's sent a letter instructing Slatkin to communicate only with Landau from that point forward. A letter from Landau later that year contains additional information about the estate. There is one original and one copy of that letter.
