Box 676: We are Denver Banners, n.d.

This box contains eight (8) banners made by the DU Division of Athletics and Recreation to promote DU Athletics, the use of the Ritchie Center, and their programs. Each of these banners' dimensions are 3 feet by 1.5 feet, and each of these banners has semicircle flaps to allow wind to pass through the banner.

The back of each of the eight (8) banners are identical. They each have a photo of the iconic gold tower atop the Ritchie Center building. At the top of this side of the banner it states "Denver PiONEer Nation" and "DU Athletics and Recreation" with two links: "denverpioneers.com" and "ritchiecenter.du.edu".

The front of each of the eight (8) banners differ, but follow the same "I am..." format.

One banner says "I am Coors Center fitness", has a photo of two women doing lunges and lifting weights, and states "We are Denver" at the bottom.

One banner says "I am Pioneer Athletics", has a photo of 4 DU students in DU merchandise cheering for a DU sports game, and states "We are Denver" at the bottom.

One banner says "I am Pioneer Athletics", has a photo of 6 DU students and community members rooting for DU sports and holding signs that say "Denver PiONEer Nation", and the banner states "We are Denver" at the bottom.

One banner says "I am Learn to Swim", has a photo of a swim coach teaching a child to float and swim in a pool, and states "We are Denver" at the bottom.

One banner says "I am Jr. Pioneer Hockey", has a photo of a young kid in DU Hockey gear playing hockey on ice, and states "We are Denver" at the bottom.

One banner says "I am P.A.S.S. Camp", has a photo of 2 girls hugging a P.A.S.S. (Pioneer Athletic Super Summer) Camp counselor, and states "We are Denver" at the bottom.

One banner says "I am Club Sports", has a photo of a woman in American flag pants figure skating, and states "We are Denver" at the bottom.

One banner says "I am Intramural Sports", has a photo of a man in an orange pinnie playing soccer, and states "We are Denver" at the bottom.
