Container 149: Inauguration Banners and ONE DU, 2015-2018

This box contains seven (7) banners related to the inauguration of the 18th DU Chancellor, Rebecca Chopp, and events that occurred under her ONE DU plan and initiative.

There are two (2) copies of a (5 feet x 2 feet) triangular banner. On one side of the banner, there is a picture of a DU brick sidewalk alongside a water feature and it states "The Eighteenth Chancellor of the University of Denver. September 18, 2015." On the other side of the banner, there is a picture of DU students walking with fall trees in the background and it states "The Inauguration of Rebecca S. Chopp". There is also a link (inauguration.du.edu) and a hashtag (#DUinauguration), along with Twitter and Facebook logos.

There is one (1) copy of a (4 feet x 1.5 feet) rectangular banner. One side of the banner has a waist-up picture of Rebecca Chopp and the banner states "Welcome Chancellor Chopp!" The other side of the banner says "Pioneer pride starts here" and has a large DU logo.

There is one (1) copy of a (4 feet x 1.5 feet) rectangular banner that shows an Event Schedule of different conferences and events hosted by One DU. The Banner states "One DU Presents: Event Schedule." The events listed are as following: January 19-20 Diversity Summit, February 10 Women's Conference, March 30-31 Sexual Assault Awareness Summit, April 14 Internationalization Summit, April 14 Culturefest, April 22 Sustainability Summit, and May 7 Pow Wow. There is a link at the bottom of the banner: du.edu/onedu. The back of the banner is the same as the front. It is believed that all of these events took place in 2017.

There is one (1) copy of a (4 feet x 1.5 feet) rectangular banner with a photo of the Rocky Mountains visible over a DU Campus building. One side of the banner says "Explore" in orange font across the top, and the other side says "Possibilities" in orange font across the top. Both sides say "#OneDU / @UofDenver" possibly linking a Twitter or other social media account.

There is one (1) copy of a triangular (5 feet x 2 feet) banner with a photo of 3 DU students on campus trying out a motorized wheeled robot that they presuably made for a project. At the top of the banner it says "Break Ground" in orange lettering. At the bottom of the banner there is a DU logo and it says "#OneDU / @UofDenver" possibly linking a Twitter or other social media account.
