Abstract

This box contains materials from the School of Professional Psychology that were used for NCA (North Central Association of Colleges and Schools now the HLC or Higher Learning Commission) Accreditation and APA ( American Psychological Association) Accreditation. Included in this box is a report of the APA site visit in 1984, appendices from 1988 accreditation materials (including a handbook and manual for the Professional Psychology Center), a 1989 annual report for the school, and a 1990 self study produced for the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA). There are also binders with materials of the Clinical Psychology Program (PsyD) in the Graduate School of Professional Psychology that were submitted to the committee on accreditation in October, 1998.

This collection contains all materials relating to and originating from the Graduate School of Professional Psychology at the University of Denver. Materials include many photographs (of the people and events in the GSPP), class photos, scarpbooks, newsletters, a program description, accreditation materials, and faculty and staff photos.

This collection can be added to in the future.

Folders are in chronological order.

Folders (U412.02.0003.00001 through U412.02.0003.00004) were previously stored in the collection of University of Denver Accreditation Records (U316), and the materials are still in the folders and in the order they were orginally organized in.

Binders (U412.02.0003.00005 through U412.02.0003.00007) were previously stored in the collection for the Department of Psychology (U083).
