Abstract

This box contains five (5) cups and one (1) pair of sunglasses that celebrate the University of Denver and the Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity.

There are three of the same cups that appear clear and speckled, and in green lettering they have "ΛXA" (the greek letters for Lamda Chi Alpha), the logo/shield of the fraternity, and say "Alpha Pi Zeta: DU's True Brotherhood Since 1917." On the back of these cups is a quote by former president (and fraternity brother) Harry S. Truman, "Those who know the true meaning of brotherhood must practice it..."

Another plastic, white cup has faded red lettering that appears to say "University of Denver. Week of the Greeks. May 13-17, 1991." It has the greek letters for all of the greek life organizations on campus at the time and says "Absolute Greek" at the bottom. On the backside, there is a faded schedule of events and below it is a quote from Animal House (1977) "Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life..."

The last plastic cup is neon green and says "If you love Dee Zee raise your cup. If not, raise your standards. Big Man on Campus 2014."

Laslty, the pair of sunglasses are black and square-shaped. The arms of the sunglasses say "ΛXA" (the greek letters for Lamda Chi Alpha) and "Fall Rush 2009." The glasses also have fabric attatched to the ends of the arms so you can wear them around your neck.
