Series 4: Revenue Bonds and Loan Agreements, 1982-2006
Abstract
This series contains bound books and notebooks about revenue bonds. Revenue bonds are a type of municipal bond used by higher education institutions to finance capital projects. Revenue bonds are repaid solely from the income generated by the specific project or system that the bonds finance.
The books in this series capture the revenue bonds taken by the University of Denver from 1982 to 2006. Some revenue bonds were issued by the Colorado Postsecondary Educational Facilities Authority, other revenue bonds in the series were issued by the Colorado Educational and Cultural Facilities Authority, and others were issued by the City and County of Denver, Colorado. Types of revenue bonds include refunding revenue bonds, variable rate demand revenue bonds, variable rate refunding revenue bonds, improvement revenue bonds, and industrial development revenue bonds.
Lastly there are two bound notebooks in this series that cover "Information Concerning University of Denver and a Request for Credit Enhancement of $20,000,000" and "Colorado Seminary (Denver University) 1985 Refinance."
