Box contains military documents from conflicts his family served in:

A Civil War President's Thanks and Certificate of Honorable Service for Harry Wood, Engelmann's great-great grandfather, and his service as a 100 days' volunteer (1864)

A lead Civil War bullet from a Union soldier

Two cards, one with Harry Wood's company name and the other describing the towel and sewing kit he had with him

A linen towel and "housemaid," or sewing kit, brought by Harry Wood in Sherman's Georgia campaign (1864)

A bolo knife made from the spring steel of a U.S> Army jeep in a hand-carved mahogany sheath given to Engelmann's father, George T. Engelmann by workers in the Philippines in 1944
