Abstract

This series contains materials related to the administration of Perry-Mansfield Camp and the related work Charlotte Perry occasionally did in California. Materials in this series include addresses, planning notes, documents on the early Rocky Mountain Dancing Camp with which Portia Mansfield was involved, information on other theatre productions and programs, camp staff, camper letters, correspondence with Hunter College, news and events in Steamboat Springs, Portia Mansfield Films information, property information, and documents relating to the transfer of the camp to Stephens College in 1964.

From the Collection:

This collection materials related to the Perry-Mansfield Dance Camp along with personal papers of Charlotte Perry, Portia Mansfield, and Ingrid Wekerle. Camp materials include administrative papers, teaching materials, scripts, production notes, props, publicity, outreach, clippings, artwork, photographs, photo albums, scrapbooks, tapes, and more. Personal papers include family records; correspondence; research; legal documents; memorials for Perry, Mansfield, and Smith; a map of the Rocky Mountain National Park; and photos taken by Ken Proper.
