Abstract

This series contains materials related to the activities that occured and were hosted at the Perry-Mansfield Camp. The camp was a place for students to learn, and therefore this series includes teaching materials used by Charlotte Perry or Portia Mansfield, including class notes for beginner to advanced students, lectures, songbooks, scene reading copies, and director's notes. In addition, there are scripts of plays that were put on by the camp, some of which were written by "Kingo" an alias for Charlotte Perry. There are also production notes for the plays, including music and stage sets.

From the Collection:

This collection materials related to the Perry-Mansfield Dance Camp along with personal papers of Charlotte Perry, Portia Mansfield, and Ingrid Wekerle. Camp materials include administrative papers, teaching materials, scripts, production notes, props, publicity, outreach, clippings, artwork, photographs, photo albums, scrapbooks, tapes, and more. Personal papers include family records; correspondence; research; legal documents; memorials for Perry, Mansfield, and Smith; a map of the Rocky Mountain National Park; and photos taken by Ken Proper.

This collection can be added to in the future.

Arrangement

This series is divided into two boxes, one contains teaching materials and the other contains play scripts and production notes.
