Abstract

This box contains a total of five (5) scrapbooks created by the ELC.

There is a brown scrapbook, which contains photographs of various events and field trips hosted by ELC for international students, and their intramural sports teams. (1985-1988).

The second scrapbook is a white scrapbook wrapped in ethofoam (1986-1992) , which includes photographs of various events and field trips hosted by the ELC and their intramural sports. There are also two newspaper clippings about the Moscow String Quartet.

The third scrapbook is a white scrapbook wrapped in ethofoam titled "Special Programs Summer 1991" (1986-1993), which includes photographs from a Halloween party, ELC students volunteering at an elementary school, and photographs from Japanese businessmen and Taiwanese students during a special summer program.

There is a second brown scrapbook titled “Spring 1988”, which contains photographs of various events and field trips hosted by ELC for international students, as well as some photographs from their intramural sports teams and photographs of ELC staff (1988-1990). Some notable events include the Chancellor’s Inauguration, a graduate brunch and ceremony, and tree planting photos from Arbor Day.

There is a third brown scrapbook wrapped in ethofoam titled “ELC Gets a Facelift” (1990-1992). It primarily contains photographs of the ELC renovation, as well as various events and field trips hosted by the ELC, including the Festival of Nations.
