Abstract

Box contains two panoramic photographs of troops in 1918:

Both read "Provisional Regiment at the Presidio of San Francisco, ROTC Camp - Col. H.M. Dichman, Commander K of C. All Welcome June 8th, 1918" on the front and "In this I am where the cross is just below the cross in the top margin" on the back. Photographs are fragile.

The Alfred C. ''Pete'' Nelson Papers span from 1918 to 1978, relating to his personal life and work at the University of Denver outside of his chancellorship. Administration papers contain correspondence, annual reports, meeting minutes, newspaper clippings, speeches, photographs, memos, maps, periodicals and brochures. The scrapbooks contain newspaper and magazine clippings, programs, and photographs from his days as a student at the University of Denver to his early career as a Chemistry Professor at the University.
