Abstract

This file contains photographs of the well-known Ivy League quartet, the Princeton University Boomerangs. Enclosed correspondence reads: 'The well-known Ivy League quartet - the princeton University Boomerangs - will entertain opera and play goers this summer at Central City as part of the historic mining town's annual festival. The four princeton undergraduates will sing for central City patrons between the acts of the operas and the play in the garden of the famous Opera House. Many central City regulars will remember the Boomerangs as the Princeton quartet which was feature at the Central City festival in 1954. Two Princeton Juniors, J. York Peeler, 20 years old, from Rockwell, N.C. and Boynton Rawlings, 20, from Flint Mich., and , two Princeton Sophomores, Robert Bushnell, 19 from Darien Conn., and Robert Duff, 20 , from New haven Conn. compose the quartet.'
