Abstract

This box contains microfiche copies of financial statements, financial documents, and budgetary documents from 1956-1985. There are two containers within this box that have the microfiche organized by what information is contained on the microfiche (summary accounts, endowment reports, basic budget, reports of transaction, annual reports, budget information, development, and bonds). Each microfiche has a label including a title and date. There are also some microfiche that were loose (but organized) and are now organized into mini folders based on year and subject of the microfiche. These microfiche range from 1980-1985 and include labels such as general ledger by account, summary of revenue and expenditures, audit trial, summary of account controls, summary of expenditures and budget available, an subsidiary ledger summary.

Scope and Contents

From the Series:

Series 14 contains photocopies of the Board of Trustees minutes, taken from the bound volumes in Series 1.

Arrangement

This box and its contents were previously housed in the U113 DU Business and Financial Affairs Collection. However, since these are preservation copies of many of the materials that were used to describe, plan for, create, and display the University's budget, they were relocated to this location. The DU budget is created by the Chancellor in collaboration with the Treasurer and members of the Business and Financial Affairs division to be presented to and approved by the Board of Trustees.
