Box 29: Budget Reports, 1947-2000
Abstract
This box contains completed budget reports, proposed budgets, and budget summaries that were compiled by the Chancellor in close collaboration with the Treasurer (who is often the Vice Chancellor of Business and Financial Affairs). Typically, the budget reports contain different breakdowns of the basic budget for the proposed year alongside the budget for the previous academic year. The budget is broken down into revenues and expenditures and shows information for all of the academic programs and degrees provided at DU. Sometimes these budget reports are accompanied by internal memos regarding concerns about the budget and decisions made. For example there are budget comparisons with other private institutions.
