Abstract

Newspaper photographs of members of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks at races at Overland Park in Denver, Colorado. The identification of the top photograph: "A group of Winners--Left to right: Judge Peter L. Palmer, Roland G. Parvin, Milton L. Anfenger, Frank Gist, George P. Steele, Otto Herres." Milton Anfenger is standing in the center wearing a light-colored jacket. Behind the men are people in the stands. A member of Elks Lodge #17, Milton Anfenger was elected Exalted Ruler in 1913.
