Doctor's Leather Case With ENT Set, between 1924-1952
Abstract
Black leather rectangular case with metal clasp on outside. The top is personalized with the owner's name embossed in gold: ''Arthur L. Esserman, M.D.'' The inside has a plum colored velvet inner lining and three inner sections. The case is filled with pieces from a diagnostic ear, nose and throat (ENT) set. This case belonged to Dr. Arthur L. Esserman (born 1898) who was an intern at Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado from 1924 to 1926 and practiced pediatric medicine in Denver from 1926 to 1952.
