Leather Business Card Case, between 1924-1952
Abstract
A dark brown leather case with gold embossing on right bottom corner: ''Dr. A. Esseman [sic]''. The left hand side has two flaps, the smaller section has ''Cards'' and the larger section has ''Prescriptions'' embossed in gold. Inside the case was a document titled: ''Recommendations for the care of the premature infant,'' dated October 1948. Belonged to Dr. Arthur L. Esserman (born 1898) who was an intern at Children's Hospital in Denver, Colorado from 1924 to 1926 and practiced pediatric medicine in Denver from 1926 to 1952.
