Black Velvet Hat, between 1951-1955
A black velvet half-circle shaped hat. There are four black velvet ''leaves'' covered in black velvet. Each of the four ''leaves'' has braid trimming around their edges. Highly decorative tulle covers the hat from the center back and would cover the face to eye level. A large black velvet covered button is at the top center of the hat. The label inside states ''Miss Sally Victor New York.'' Originally belonged to Sara Isaacson Ettenson.
