Elks Mid Western Dinner, 1938 July 12
Abstract
Group at the Mid Western Dinner of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks at the 74th National Convention. Milton Louis Anfenger is seated at the rear circular table at the right in front of a window. He is wearing a boutonnière and a ribbon. It is said that Congregation Emanuel in Denver, Colorado was founded at the bris or circumcision ceremony of Milton Anfenger, the eldest son of Louis and Louise Anfenger. Milton Anfenger became a successful attorney and leader in Denver. A member of Elks Lodge #17, he was elected Exalted Ruler in 1913.
