From the Collection:

The photographs include a portrait of Ray Shapiro, 1899, and a photograph of a plaque for the New York building on the JCRS campus with Mrs. Aaron Shapiro listed as a directress.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements

Fair 6 x 4.2 inches black & white Matting is 10.5 x 8.5 inches.

Condition Report

There is discoloration and stains on matting, numerous scratches on the photograph and some areas of loss, but the photograph is not faded. (TKW, 2008-05-10)

Inscription and Marks

On front of photograph, in raised print on the mat portion: decorative edging around print; crown and curtain, ribbon ''Newman Studio,'' and ''New York'' below ribbon.
