Sidney Israelski, wearing an army uniform, is standing in front of a building at Fort Riley, Kansas. Sidney Israelski served in the United States Army during World War I and was drafted in 1942. He was at Fort Riley for a short time during World War II before he was released from the army to work in the defense industry at Winter-Weiss in Denver, Colorado.
