Abstract

A group of students posed with their teacher in front of Henry M. Teller Elementary School located at 1150 Garfield Street, Denver, Colorado. The following students signed the back of the photograph: Lizzie K. Blackmore, Grace S. Zirkle, Josephine C. Engelhardt, Maude B. Porter, Carrie Sauer, Lela McCoy, Celia O. Peterson, Caroline E. Glage, Janice Ruth Porter, Jane Schayer, Frances Annetta Robertson, Marjorie Firebaugh, Irving Isaacson, Edith Rose Smirnoff. Elizabeth Feltner, Prin. and Helen Exley Knight signed the front of the photograph.

From the Collection:

The collection contains materials intentionally assembled by the Ira M. and Peryle Hayutin Beck Memorial Archives of Jews in the Rocky Mountain region. The bulk of the photographs are from or related to various towns in Colorado, but the collection also contains photographs from other states in the western United States and other countries. There are some 19th century photograph types represented in the collection, including albumen prints, daguerrotypes, tintypes, post cards, colorized prints, cabinet cards, and cartes-de-visite.
