Topics include coming to Denver; parents had already come from Russia and he came over around age 8 or 12 to join them. He was a newsboy for the Rocky Mountain News and shined news. Married Mary Mandel (granddaughter of P. Radinsky) when he was still in is teens, had 6 children. Later runs Barter Machinery. Charitable, very involved in Beth Israel.

From the Series: Series 1 consists of the recorded oral histories of individuals and, occasionally, groups of individuals representing Jewish organizations. Many of the interviewees are descendants of early Colorado Jewish pioneers or were Jewish newcomers to the state in the beginning of the 20th century. The interviews document Jewish history in Colorado in the 20th century.
