Report of the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS) for January-March 1927; Dr. Philip Hillkowitz was the Society's President, and C.D. Spivak was the Secretary. Includes announcements about the groundbreaking for the sanatorium's Texas Woman's Pavilion and the new land cultivation and farming near the sanatorium, reports from the New York Ladies' Auxiliary and other auxiliaries, and an essay on the need for a research laboratory in the sanatorium. Also includes news from the Philadelphia Auxiliary's fundraising campaign, the convention committee, and obituaries for, and portraits of, of Mrs. Rochel R. Mehl and Mrs. Dan Oppenheimer. Features portraits of the New York Ladies' Auxiliary officers, Philadelphia campaigners, and Henry Halpern, chair of the convention committee.
