Jamboree, choreographed by Gerald Arpino, was commissioned by the City of San Antonio and the San Antonio Performing Arts Association to capture the city's spirit. The ballet is set to music by Teo Marcero, ahs costumes by Willa Kim and lighting by Thomas Skelton. Jamboree hd its world premier on June 20, 1984 at the Lila Cockrell Theatre in San Antonio, Texas.
