Abstract

Box contains documents on various projects relating to construction and reorganization of the University Libraries buildings. This includes the Mary Reed library; the installation of different facilities from 1950, largely including blueprints; building program programs and proposals from 1971 which determined the space needs of the future Penrose Library; the move to Penrose and the facilities there; maintenance and repair; floorplans and maps from Penrose and the Anderson Academic Commons; Penrose library upgrade costs; re-organization of physical locations of library departments; renovations and clean-up across library facilities, including advisory panels; digital signage in the library buildings; building meetings; several folders on the 2014 Dupont Room project which was under the purview of the Anderson Academic Commons; and the Buchtel Tower. Box also contains four (4) floppy disks and two (2) hard drives from Theresa Hernandez containing material related to buildings and constructions--these records have been copied into the University Archives Dropbox account for digital storage, per the Curator. Files are arranged chronologically.
