The Nikolais Dance Theatre will appear at City Center, 131 West 55th Street, from February 16 to 26, 1984. During the two-week season the company will present one World Premiere, one New York Premiere and two major revivals. One of the highlights of this 1984 season with be the World Priere of a new Nikolais work set to Edgard [sic] Varese's ''Poeme Electronique,'' plus the revivals of ''Kaleidoscope,'' premiered in 1956 at the Henry Street Playhouse, and ''Gallery'' which was last seen in New York during the company's 1981 season.
