Biographical / Historical
Rene Heredia began learning to play guitar as a young boy. At age 17, he became the lead guitarist for the company of Carmen Amaya. This started his career as an international flamenco artist. Since then, Heredia has been a performer, teacher, composer, recording artist, choreographer, and director of his own flamenco dance company.
