Abstract
Thelma Kauffman shares her memories of the University Park area of Denver, Colorado, including the professions of the residents in the area, local schools, and local churches. She also provides a brief history of Chamberlin Observatory and the house that was built for Herbert Alonzo Howe, the University of Denver astronomy professor and dean who founded the observatory.
