Inscription and Marks
Stammped on back of photographic pirnt: ''B.A. Bakalar Photographers, The Gotham, Fifth Avenue at 55th Street, New York 19, N.Y.'' Typed on paper taped to back of photographic print: ''Press News from Muriel Francis, Publicity, Public Relations, 745 Fifth Avenue, New York 22, N.Y., Plaza 9-5600. Ruth Arell............. For a man of action, it's very difficult for Metropolitan Opera basso Lorenzo Alvary to sit still. But the fanous singer who appears at Central City in Cosi Fan Tutti, sits for the preliminary sketches necessary for a sculptured study. The artist is Irene Hamar, well-known Brazial [sic] sculptress, who has already made sculptured likenesses of such opera luminaries as Stella Roman and Salvatore Baccaloni.''
