Abstract

Portrait of Leyna Gabriele, a coloratura soprano singer who performed with the Central City Opera in their world premiere of "The Ballad of Baby Doe" in 1956. Leyna became one of the two soprano's to play the role of Elizabeth-Baby Doe.
