Abstract
Portrait of Anna Kaskas, a contralto singer from the Metropolitan Opera who performed with the Central City Opera in the 1939 production of "The Yeoman of the Guard" and the 1941 production of "Orfeo et Eurdice.", appears in the Metropolitan Opera production as Azucena in the opera ''Il Travatore.''
