Portrait of Paul Porter, a performer who worked with the Central City Opera as Herald in the 1934 production of 'Othello,' in the 1935 production 'Central City Nights' and as the Duke of Plaza-Toro in the 1936 production 'The Gondoliersn,' appears as The Duke in the opera ''The Gondoliers.''
