Abstract

Two unidentified men stand next to the billboard for the 1960 Opera Festival in costume with guns pointed at the billboard. Billboard reads, "Central City Opera House Association present twenty-ninth annual opera festival June 25th through July 23rd 1960. Aida by Giuseppe Verdi, libretto by Antonio Ghislanzoni, english translation by Martha Winburn England. Lucia Di Lammermoor by Gaetano Donizetti, libretto by Salvatore Cammarano, enshlis adaptation by Robert A. Simon, Emerson Buckley musical director, production staged by Nathaniel Merrill (leg interfering with billboard) by Robert O'Hearn, (leg interfering) P. Martin associate conductor, Roger Dexter Fee chorus masters Mattlyn Gavers choreographer.
