Billboard reads, " Central City Opera House Association twenty-seventh annual opera festival June 28th through July 26th, 1958. Cavalleria Rusticana by Pietro Macagni, I Pagliacci by Ruggiero Leoncavallo, settnig and costumes by Mr. Rolf Gerard, conductor Mr. Emerson Buckley, directed by Mr. Hans Busch and La Perichole by Jacques Offenbach starring Cyril Ritchard, directed by Mr. Ritchard and assisted by Nathaniel Merrill, associate conductor Walter Taussig, Roger Dexter Fee chorus master, Mattlyn Gavers, ballet mistress."
