Billboard reads, " The Central City Opera House Assn. presents fifteenth annual play festival July 1 through July 20, 1950. Madame butterfly by Giacomo Puccini and Don Pasquale by Gaetano Donizetti, designed and directed by Dr. Elmer Nagy, conducted by tibor Kozma, through arrangemtn by Frank St. Leger, the performances will be sung in english by a brilliant cast of singers from New York."
