Typed and attached to the bottom of photograph, "...brings hundreds of opera lovers out onto historic Eureka Street to breathe the cool Colorado mountain air. Central City, scene of the renovated summer opera and drama festivals, is one of the few authentically preserved 'ghost towns' of the fabulous gold mining era of Colorado's 1860's."
