Typed and attached to back of image: ' Dressed in their 'Sunday-go-to-meetin' best,' as they would have worn them in 1905, hundreds of Denver's social leaders packed the historic Central City Opera house Saturday night. This picture shows a small section of the crowd entering the building, built fifty eight years ago now restored to it original splendor. AUG 6 - 1933.'
