Don Ameche as a fortyish combination of Casanova and bachelor playboy clashed head-on with betsy von Furstenberg as the impudent girl who is a thorn in the side, or a fly in his soup. Miss Furstenberg co-stars as a 19-year-old minx who deflates of romance. Helping the stars boil up laughter in the three-act comedy are Elliot Reid as the gourmet's friend and publisher, and Taina Elg as the girl not in his soup.
