Costume Design for 'Peasant' - Female, 1947
Abstract
Costume design by Mary P. Schenck for the characters portraying Young Peasant (six female performers; Crom, Gruwell, Kenney, Massey, Starr, Copley) in the 1947 festival production 'Fidelio.' Costume design includes long sleeve blouse with collar, square neck dress with apron around waist and black flats. Attached to bottom of matting with staples is small piece of paper with women's measurements handwritten in pencil.

Scope and Contents
This series contains sheet music, scores for productions from 1983-2008, costume design, misc. graphic design, scenic design, and manuscripts for productions. Collection of scores are photocopied from original score material and marked by various production staff members. Scores were found in the foundry in Central City and do not represent each production from all festival years. Also in this series are some costume and scenic designs. It is unclear what relation the box containing costume designs by Edward M. Stevenson and Charles Le Marie had to the CCOHA and how they appeared in the CCOHA collection.
