Abstract

Sen. Dominick (R-Colo.) shakes hands with Colonel Crosby of the United States Air Force. U. S. Air Force Brigadier General Butcher can be seen standing between the two men. An Air Force jet and two saluting soldiers can also be seen. As commander of Task Force Alpha at Nakhon Phanom RTAFB, Brigadier General Butcher was responsible for directing Air Force missions during the Vietnam War. Senator Dominick was on his second trip to Southeast Asia as a member of the United States Senate Armed Services Committee.
