Abstract

Senator Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) continues answering questions from host Joe Finan and call-in listeners during an episode of KTLN's radio program, Feedback, recorded in Colorado on November 4, 1965. Sen. Dominick discusses financial support for the United Nations, UNICEF, the availability of government internships for foreign language students, communism and trade with communist countries, the status of students he has appointed to the national service academies and the placement and handling of Cuban refugees following their arrival in the United States. Dominick also discusses the United States economy, including the devaluation of the dollar and elimination of the gold standard; administrative pressure on the legislative branch and the danger of having one party control all branches of government; Defense Secretary Robert S. McNamara's handling of the military budget, and U.S. citizens providing aid to the Vietcong in South Vietnam. The recording also includes ten radio advertising spots.
