For the record. Economic disaster, 1968 May 14
Abstract
Senator Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo) answers questions from Colorado constituents during a segment of his For the record radio program on May 14, 1968, in Washington, D.C. He reacts to the recent announcement by the Chairman of the Federal Reserve Board that the United States is in a fiscal crisis, and says the reasons for the crisis include inflation, high interest rates and high prices. He discusses a proposed surcharge tax as a remedy to offset inflation, which he would support if accompanied by cuts in expenditures.
