For the record. Export Import Bank & Flood Control, 1967 August 29
Abstract
Senator Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) answers questions from Colorado constituents during a segment of his For the record radio program on August 29, 1967 in Washington, D.C. Sen. Dominick discusses the United States Senate's recent rejection of the financing of an automobile plant in the Soviet Union by the Export-Import Bank, stating that opposition to the proposal was caused by concerns that the plant could be easily converted to manufacturing armaments as well as the lack of political concessions imposed on the Soviet Union. Dominick also discusses flood control dams in Colorado, including Chatfield Dam along the South Platte River and the Bear Creek Dam near Mt. Carbon.
