Abstract

Congressman Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) interviews Najeeb E. Halaby, Administrator of the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA) and a Yale Law School classmate, on September 15th, 1961. Rep. Dominick asks a number of questions on topics related to aviation including the development of supersonic transports and long range commercial cargo airplanes, whether the planned expansion of Stapleton Airport in Denver will allow the field to accommodate new types of aircraft, airport planning and funding through the Federal Aviation Agency and Congress, and aircraft noise reduction.
