Abstract

Senator Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) delivers his weekly radio address, Report from Washington, on Feb. 26, 1965. Sen. Dominick discusses the results of a poll of American farmers that showed they would reject the Wheat, Feed Grain and Dairy Programs of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in favor of reducing government controls, lowering agricultural price supports and depending on the open market to determine production. He also discusses the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture's increase in both the size of its bureaucracy and cost of its programs.
