Abstract

Senator Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) delivers his weekly radio address, Report from Washington, on Dec. 28, 1965. Sen. Dominick discusses topics including his November trip to Japan, India and Pakistan as part of a seven member inter-parliamentary delegation. Seven Senators from the Committee on Foreign Relations were appointed to the delegation for Vice-President Humphrey. This first part of his trip report focuses on Japanese political parties, their differing policy positions, America's economic ties to Japan, and the positive post-war developments in Japan.
